Privacy Policy

TESTivity ("we," "us") provides insurance licensing exam preparation at testivity.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the site and deliver your courses, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you buy a study tool or package, you provide your name and email address, and payment details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers. When you create a course account, we store your name, email, the license line and state you're studying for, and your course progress. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and site operation. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver the products you purchase, operate your course account, send transactional email (receipts, account setup, verification codes), respond to support requests, and keep the site secure. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers who make the product work: Stripe (payment processing), our course platform provider (account and course delivery), our email delivery provider (transactional email), and our hosting provider (site delivery). Each receives only what it needs to perform its role. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of TESTivity and its users.

Cookies

The public site works without tracking cookies. The course platform uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in and remember your progress. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep purchase records as required for tax and accounting purposes, and course account data for as long as your account is active. You may ask us to delete your account data at any time (see "Your choices" below); we will honor the request except where retention is legally required.

Your choices and rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@testivity.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor verified requests regardless of geography. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Children

TESTivity is a professional licensing product intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Payments are handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards. Course accounts are protected by email verification. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit the data we hold — the less we collect, the less there is to protect.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
